About HomeWoven

  • We are a nonprofit organization based in Omaha, Nebraska, committed to preserving and developing affordable housing for low- to moderate-income homeowners. We offer vital home repairs, accessibility updates and affordable homeownership options for hardworking families, older adults, and immigrants and refugees.

  • We offer a range of housing services under three core areas:

    • Home Preservation Program: Critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and seasonal initiatives like Warm the Metro.

    • Home Affordability Program: New construction and the purchase, rehab and resale of homes for first-time, low- to moderate-income homebuyers.

    • Workforce Development Program: Paid construction and administrative internships, including our Siembra Construcción program in partnership with the Latino Center of the Midlands.

  • We are funded through a combination of individual donations, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships and community partnerships. Funding goes directly toward supporting programs that improve housing stability and quality of life for vulnerable homeowners.

  • We primarily serve homeowners in the Omaha metro area, including Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Some programs may extend into neighboring communities such as Council Bluffs, IA, depending on funding and eligibility.

  • Follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for real-time updates on events, home listings, volunteer opportunities and stories of impact.
