Ways to Make an Impact
In addition to one-time donations, there are several impactful ways to support HomeWoven and help us preserve and create affordable housing across the Omaha metro. Whether through volunteering, monthly giving, employer matches or gifts of stock or property, every form of support strengthens our community.
Volunteer
Join a home painting team during Brush Up, assist with seasonal initiatives like Warm the Metro or lend your expertise behind the scenes. Volunteers help power every project we complete.
Monthly Giving
Become a sustaining donor and help us plan with confidence. Monthly gifts provide reliable funding that supports year-round home repairs, workforce training and affordable home construction.
Donation Matching
Many employers will match your charitable donations or volunteer hours, doubling your impact at no extra cost to you. Check with your HR department or reach out to our team for help setting it up.
Stock or Property Gifts
Donating appreciated assets like stocks or real estate is a tax-smart way to make a big difference. These gifts help fund major projects while offering potential tax benefits for the donor.
In-kind Donations
HomeWoven accepts donations of new tools, equipment and appliances to assist with our programing. To make an in-kind donation please contact Director of Development and Communications Kenley Sturdivant-Wilson or order from our Amazon wishlist.
Honorarium & Memorial Giving
Remember, honor or support a loved one or friend by making a gift in their honor. When appropriate, HomeWoven will contact the individual and notify them of your thoughtful recognition.
Planned Giving
Naming HomeWoven in your estate plans or as a beneficiary of your will or insurance policy will help ensure that our services are provided for years to come. For more information on planned giving, please contact Director of Development and Communications, Kenley Sturdivant-Wilson.
