Cool the Metro

Helping Our Neighbors Beat Summer Heat

Cool the Metro is our summer program designed to protect susceptible homeowners from the dangers of extreme heat. Providing air conditioning servicing and repairs ensures that eligible older adults as well as immigrant and refugee families stay safe and comfortable in their homes during the hottest months of the year. Extreme heat can be life-threatening, especially for older adults and people with chronic health conditions. Many low- to moderate-income homeowners cannot afford the high cost of A/C repairs or replacements, leaving them at serious risk.
