HomeWoven: A New Brand, A Continued Commitment
We are proud to introduce our new name and brand identity: HomeWoven.
Developed in partnership with E Creative, our new brand is the result of intentional research, strategy and collaboration. We engaged in strategic sessions and conversations with our staff, funders, board members and community partners. Through stakeholder interviews, we listened carefully to how our community sees us and the values they see us embody. We are deeply grateful to all who contributed to this process and are excited that this new identity reflects both our history and the evolving future of our work.
Our new name, HomeWoven, reflects the strength, warmth and connection that define our work. We remain dedicated to preserving housing and making homeownership more accessible for our community members. This new chapter affirms our belief that everyone deserves a safe, stable home, surrounded by a community that cares.
A Neighborhood Woven Together
Inspired by a bird’s-eye view of a neighborhood, our new logo reflects the places where our work happens – in homes and neighborhoods across the Omaha metro. The vibrancy of the shapes represents both homes and neighborhood spaces like parks. The negative spaces between the shapes represent the inroads that HomeWoven has made within our community. This balanced, structured design symbolizes our thoughtful approach and our respect for both the history and future of each neighborhood.
This new logo captures the essence of what we do: create safe, stable and connected spaces where our neighbors live and thrive.
Color and Typography
The deep blue wordmark represents our dependability and longstanding presence. The semi-serif font, with soft, rounded edges, reflects our welcoming nature and the meaningful connections we’ve built over time.
In addition to the blue used for the wordmark, the icon incorporates a deep, but soft green that represents the adaptability of your work and perseverance of our neighborhoods, as well as a vibrant yellow and orange, which communicate thoughtfulness and understanding.
